The South Bay has a long, rich history steeped in live music — it’s part of what makes our community so special. At South Bay Music Connection (SBMC), we’re proud to help carry that tradition forward by giving young musicians real opportunities to grow, perform, and feel connected to the place they call home.
Our musicians perform at many of the South Bay’s most beloved community events, including Fiesta Hermosa, the Riviera Village Summer Festival, Hermosa St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Concerts on the Beach, the Carrie Prom & Movie Night, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, countless Local Anchor events, and the Hermosa for the Holidays Tree Lighting Concert, where our annual SBMC House Band has become a cherished part of the celebration. We also host Rising Stars, our monthly youth showcase that gives emerging musicians a place to build confidence and experience the joy of performing live.
Whenever we’re invited to bring music to local events, we work hard to raise the funds needed so these young musicians feel supported and encouraged. Your generosity helps us continue offering meaningful performance opportunities and ensures that live music remains a vibrant part of our community.
